The winemaker from the Austrian winery Oggau has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the picturesque landscape of Burgenland. If you're looking for something special, then don't miss out on this distinctive Blaufränkisch 2015 — Bertholdi. Tasting note
Mechtild's husband is an equal and strong partner for his beloved wife. A strong Burgenland, very versatile, yet always earthy and close to nature. Quite the loving and wise grandfather for his grandchildren, who has a lot to talk about and is full of energy and joy of life. Has made his way, knows all the tricks and yet still gains class as he gets older.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The ideal drinking temperature for the red wine is a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: 3-8 years after harvest. Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Goes well with veal tenderloin, pasta with porcini mushrooms and lamb.
