Tasting note
On the nose, the typical Eisenberg spice with fresh herbs, coriander and some eucalyptus. A wonderful interplay between maturity and coolness, sour cherries and plums, powerful, dark and with a fine smokiness. Demanding and prancing on the palate, intense and crumbly tannins, looks really skewed. Lots of spice, dark fruit of blueberry and cassis, even more edgy structure, ripe blue drinkers like this are reminiscent of the northern Rhone with their style.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect accompaniment to short-roasted beef tenderloin as well as venison and venison back.
