About the wine
This dominant Cabernet Sauvignon 2017 — Book XVII is a triumph to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! Fertile and magnificent landscapes of the coastal region give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the South African winery De Toren conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Tasting note
Book XVII impresses with its full-bodied, wide-ranging bouquet of dried figs, crème de cassis, plums, with fine cardamom, vanilla and anise spice, floral components of magnolia and lilac. Full-bodied, balanced with a finely interwoven fruit and tannin structure. Precise yet silky and elegant. A great wine whose charms make it irresistible. For optimal enjoyment, we recommend decanting the wine.
