About the wine
With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Tenute Silvio Nardi masters this red wine in the blooming and fertile landscape of Tuscany. This outstanding Sangiovese 2015 — Brunello di Montalcino DOCG Manachiara is in the truest sense of the word a hit right down to the last drop! Tasting note
In the 1950 years, Silvio Nardi took on a real pioneering role in the history and success of Brunello di Montalcino. Today, tenutes Silvio Nardi (with the Casale del Bosco and Manachiara wineries) are run by daughter Emilia Nardi, assisted by oenologist and nephew Emanuele Nardi. They skilfully combine classic and modern, the highest maxim being elegance and finesse combined with power and depth. The Manachiara is a single vineyard with sandy soil rich in quartz and clay. The expansion takes place in Allier oak barriques. The structure is powerful, with soft tannins and a long finish. A great Sangiovese and terroir wine with aging potential.
