Brunello di Montalcino Lupi & Sirene Reserva 2016 - Podere le Ripi

About the wine

Francesco Illy, coffee dynasty, has always dreamed of the island. It became a paradisiacal spot on earth near Montalcino, which until 1998 was a blissful, untouched island for a shepherd and sheep. The view is beguiling, the architecture is breathtaking, the team like a tight-knit community, the 133 ha of forest, vines and olive trees intact thanks to uncompromising biodynamics (Demeter) and complete abandonment of plastic. And as dry as it can be here, Francesco and his team thought about it and - quality and sustainability as a mission - planted bonsai vines, although small, but also adapted to this environment, and thus, as a thank you, outstanding in terms of qualities. Incomparably seductive, sensual wines.

Tasting note
Ornella Muti - what an erotic, mature charisma. It is such a seductive scent, red fruit, ripe brown tones, everything so supple, so feminine, this curve, of such fresh, juicy, also challenging presence. On the palate a little extra, beautifully fleshy self-confident swing, this red, ripe fruit nestles along, like the seduces, so confident, grandeur, posture, structure, without excitement, and not a bit tired, the self-evident size, unattainable, and yet such a sensual experience. Very big.
