About the wine
The snappy Sangiovese 2008 — Cepparello IGT Rosso Toscana is the missing puzzle piece on your wine rack. The fertile and blooming Tuscan landscapes give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Isole e Olena conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. The Flaschenpöstler promise a dining experience when you serve this Sangiovese with pizza or pasta.

Tasting note
Cepparello is an icon, a beautiful and precise expression of Sangiovese. The inviting nose features aromas of juicy berries, cherries and plum skin, plus floral-spicy notes of wild blossoms, cloves and earthy beetroot. Complex on the palate, showing a lot of depth, yet elegant with fine freshness and subtle mineral-salty nuances on the long finish.
Culinary recommendation
A fine accompaniment to Italian classics such as “Saltimbocca alla Romana”, “Piccata Milanese” or “Bistecca Fiorentina”, but also to dishes with lamb, game and wild fowl, such as pheasant with bacon, orange and sage.
