About the wine
If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it is this dominant Chardonnay 2019 Chablis Vieilles Vignes. This Chardonnay draws its power and energy from the chalky, gravelly soils of Burgundy. The winemaker from the French winery Domaine Louis Michel & Fils transforms it into a real treat with great emotion. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you offer this Chardonnay with truffles or goat cheese.
Tasting note
This Chablis shows notes of white fruits such as peach, mulberry and lychee and has a mineral structure. On the palate, you can tell the minerality extremely well, which is typical of a good Chablis, on the finish it is pure, soft and round - the perfect starter wine from Louis Michel!
Culinary recommendation
Unsere Empfehlung: Der Weisswein schmeckt am besten bei leicht gekühlten 12°-14°C. Von den Flaschenpöstlern empfohlen: Chablis Vieilles Vignes harmoniert bestens mit Fisch mit Kräutern, Geisskäse und Weichkäse.
