About the wine

The Castello del Trebbio is just 15 km from Florence and has 54 ha of vineyards. The current owners, the Baj Macario family, bought and renovated the castle in 1968. Anna Baj Macario, the owner of the castle, takes care of the olive oil production and her husband, Stefano Casadei, the wine production.

Tasting note
Bright garnet red On the nose, fine aromas of red fresh berries and fresh herbs. Pleasant soft tannins Fruity, light aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with pasta of all kinds, with calzones, risottos and hearty meat dishes and barbecues. Wonderful with ripe pecorino.
