About the wine
The skewed, calcareous soils in Burgundy form the breeding ground for this Gamay. The winemaker from the French winery Louis Tête knows how to use them and delights us with this red wine. With the powerful Gamay 2014 — Chiroubles ac "Cuvee Melinand" Louis Tete M.O., nuances and accents are redefined. Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this gamay with hash browns or roasted poultry.
Tasting note
Color: Bright, medium cherry red with strong purple hues. Aromatics: Intense, ripe, deep fruit in the bouquet of black cherries, currant jelly, floral notes of violets and irises, finely earthy, mineral nuance. Body: Long start, medium-bodied, present palate, good acidity, distinctive tannins, mineral finish. Quality: Very typical of the variety, gentle but lively wine.
