About the wine
Picturesque landscapes of Burgenland give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Austrian winery Jacqueline Klein conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. If you're looking for something special, don't miss out on this dominant Shiraz 2016 — Crassus. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Shiraz is excellent to serve with roasted vegetables or barbecue.
Tasting note
Strong, profound and opulent are the keywords for this cuvée, which now consists of the three varieties Cabernet Franc, the autochthonous grape variety Zweigelt and the noble grape Syrah. From a rich, profound ruby red, fine notes of cassis and ripe berry fruits unfold, which are integrated into excellent, harmonious wood notes.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with red meat, grilled meats and game dishes as well as hard and soft cheeses.
