About the wine
Venus la Universal was founded in 1999 by the gifted oenologist Sara Pérez and is today managed by her husband Rene Barbier Jr. They work in harmony with nature, the cultivation and expansion follow biodynamic principles (currently not certified) .Venus la Universal is one of the many fascinating projects by the two winemakers whose fathers, with Mas Martinet and Clos Mogador, have awakened the Priorat. Sara Pérez and René Barbier Jr. are now continuing their legendary fathers' Spanish wine tale with great success, not only in Priorat, but also in Montsant.

Tasting note
A wine like a party among friends: opulent, elegant, familiar. Plenty of food is served here, and you can use it with courage. Ripe fruit, creamy and fresh. More and more is being used, including spices such as cloves and star anise. And later, there are also intimate and familiar moments, great harmony, the wine nestles on the palate, opulent, sweet and seductive, gentle with a pure soul. A nice and long pleasure.
