About the wine
There is always something left over from Christmas dinner. Do you know that? Why not invite your friends to a glass of wine in the afternoon to enjoy the festive meal once again and we recommend this dominant Pinot Noir — Dôle du Valais La Cloche La Torrentière. To get a feel for the hilly and mountainous landscape beauty of Valais, there is no way around this red wine, which the Swiss winery Hammel SA masters with a keen sense of texture. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Pinot Noir is excellent to serve with salmon or cheese.
Tasting note
Its rich ruby red crowns every festive occasion with style and magic. You won't find this color in any color palette. The Dôle du Valais La Cloche La Torrentière aromas of mushrooms and caramel candy express a lot of character with a very individual structure. Afterwards, the refreshing nuances of raspberry, cherry and vanilla reveal their own character. With subdued, pleasantly developed tannins, medium-bodied and dominant acidity, this fruity red wine shows its flawless structure.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: Enjoy this red wine at a slightly chilled 14°-16°C. Flaschenpost team tip: Dôle du Valais La Cloche La Torrentière goes perfectly with salmon, duck and red meat.
