Do you already know the biting red wine Don Camillo Sangiovese Cabernet Terre di Chieti IGP with the 2016 vintage? If not, it's time! Blooming and fertile landscapes of Abruzzo give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Farnese Vini Ortona conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Tasting note
Dense ruby red with intense purple reflections. Ripened bouquet, notes of blackberries, cooked sour cherries, wild berries, warm roasted notes of coffee, fine bitter almond aroma. Well-structured and powerful on the palate with present aromas, balanced acid/tannin play with a sweet note in the finale Youthful wine with potential, lively and fresh drinking pleasure, still closed.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with southern Italian specialities such as orecchiette with tomato sauce, mature hard cheese and grilled leg of lamb with rosemary and thyme.
