The careful work in the vineyard and in the cellar results in a wine of bright ruby red color, a pure, structured fruit and tantalizingly firm yet tasty tannins. As with all Eagles' Nest red wines, there is a subtle peppery spiciness that makes this wine both distinctive. Aromas of mulberry, dark chocolate and tobacco add further complexity. The palate is full and structured, with balanced tannins and a concentrated, persistent mouthfeel.
