About the wine
The D.O. Toro is located in the northeast of Castile and Leon and runs along the banks of the Duero (Zamaro). The vines lie in a small valley about 5 km from Villa Toro in the village of Valdefinjas. The Tinta de Toro grape is a Tempranillo variety. Toro is one of the most up-and-coming wine regions in Spain.
Tasting note
Wine made from clones of the Tempranillo grape variety and aged for 21 months in new oak barrels. Intense purple color. Distinct bouquet with toast and spicy notes. A powerful and complex cru with black fruit aromas and a nice balance. The tannin structure and good acidity indicate a good shelf life.

Goes well with spicy meats, game dishes
