More than 100 years of winegrowing, and since 1978, the Gallo family, or more specifically: Gianfranco Gallo, has been running Vie di Romans, located between the Adriatic and the Alps in Marino de Friuli. And he is not only leading it, he is leading it at the helm of Friuli. Because they work meticulously here, plus very slow fermentation, long yeast stores, and release only two years after harvesting. The extremely long-lasting white wines are of sumptuous elegance and intense, exciting harmony that is otherwise not found in this perfection. Despite an impressive 60 ha and several 100,000 bottles, it is difficult to get them, too unusual, too outstanding, and these wines are too popular. Extraordinary food and conversation companions!
