About the wine
There is something left over from Christmas dinner every year. Do you know that? Beautiful and sunny landscapes of the coastal region give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the South African winery Kanonkop conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Tasting note
Classic varietal character with typical aromas of black currants, pencil chips and freshly cut herbs. A well-rounded wine with excellent accessibility, juicy fruit core and fresh acidity. The tannins add a grainy texture, and the wine lingers on the finish with beautiful aromas of blue berries and subtle oak spices.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled meats, beef casseroles, steak, biltong and aged cheeses.
