About the wine
Christmas 2021 is just around the corner! Make the most of it with this dominant Chasselas 2020 — La Perle du Valais! You can describe the Valais landscape with words such as mountainous or hilly. However, the Swiss winery Domaine du Mont d'Or is trying to express the beauty of its home country with this white wine. We think he succeeded! Tasting note
Light, soft yellow with green shimmer. Fine, elegant, typical of the terroir, subtle mineral notes. Lively and fresh, slightly sparkling, reminiscent of hazelnuts and flint. Pleasant mineral finish.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with Valais platters, raclette, fondue, sauerkraut, fried fish, alpine cheese and tomme.
