Guillaume Cordonis, the experienced winemaker at Maison Mirabeau, has expanded his barrel selection and increased the proportion of the Rolle grape variety to give the wine even more depth and dimension. This gives him his very own fascinating personality. Building on the profile of the first vintage, he is looking for notes of spices, roasted fruit, butter, brioche, fresh fruit and floral notes. As far as aging in the barrels is concerned, the rosé is “trained” in a different, gentler way through the micro-oxygen supply. This fascinating rosé is only available in very limited quantities. The vines for the La Réserve grow right around the domain. To top it off, 30% of the profits from this year's vintage go to the Foundation for Regenerative Viticulture.
