Tasting note
Deep, intense ruby red, Manduria is Puglia's best and most popular region for the Primitivo grape. In addition to intensely fruity aromas reminiscent of plum and cherry marmalade, the Luccarelli offers a variety of complex scents, delicately reminiscent of wintery spices, tobacco and leather. The full body delicately caresses the palate, where the spicy aromas are reflected with mocha and a touch of vanilla.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The red wine tastes best at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The following period is the ideal period to enjoy this wine: 2023 to 2027. Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Luccarelli Primitivo di Manduria DOC Farnese goes perfectly with pizza, red meat and brasato.
