Tasting note
The nose smells wonderfully of black fruits, currants, blackberries, cherries and shy vanilla accents. Their intensity and full-bodied character pamper the taste buds in a gently warming way. The fine and elegantly integrated tannins show a long and persistent presence. A great accompaniment to hearty dishes such as stews or game dishes in particular.
Culinary recommendation
Goes wonderfully with stews, roasts, pot roasts and game, blue cheese and aged cheeses. Also ideal with pasta filled with meat or cheese.
