About the wine
The dominant red wine 2016 — Malanser Pinot Noir Spatlese Barrique AOC Graubunden is the missing piece of the puzzle in your wine rack. To get a feel for the hilly and mountainous landscape aesthetics of the Bündner Herrschaft, there is no way around this red wine, which the Swiss winery Weinbau von Salis masters with a keen sense of texture. Flaschenpost team promises a culinary experience when you serve this Pinot Noir with cheese or duck.
Tasting note
The late harvest aromas of ripe berries and dark fruits, finely supported by a subtle vanilla note; lots of charm and power on the palate.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with veal and pork dishes, poultry and Grisons specialities.
Vinification
The wine is made from very late harvested, fully ripe grapes. It is aged for 8 months in used French oak barriques measuring 225 liters.
