About the wine
Seven children inherited the wine and olive estate iGreco from their father Tommaso Greco. The still young winery is very dynamic and modern. Nevertheless, great emphasis is still placed on tradition and culture, with the constant effort to improve quality. Today, as then, wine and olive oil are supposed to tell the story of the country.
Tasting note
Dark crimson with ruby reflections, full, fruity and elegant bouquet reminiscent of plums, violets and Amarena cherries. Smooth body with aromas of licorice, leather and fresh herbs as well as distinct balsamic notes. Long, spicy-fruity finish.
Culinary recommendation
An ideal accompaniment to grilled and braised meat, lamb, wild mushrooms, stuffed tomatoes and more mature hard cheese.
