Tasting note
Color: Clear, dense ruby red with violet reflections Aromas: Intense compote-like aromas of plums, spruce needles, leather with slightly toasted, spicy notes. Body: The powerful Primitivo di Manduria has a very long start with a good balance between acidity and tannins. The aromas of plums, almonds, licorice, vanilla and toasted notes round off the long aftertaste. Quality: A powerful wine that, with its present tannins and aromas, is harmonious all around.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with Italian main dishes such as lasagna or pizza and is the perfect accompaniment to a barbecue evening.
