About the wine
The winemaker from the Spanish winery Montevannos is absolutely proficient in his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the graceful and beautiful landscape of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon). With the special Opimius DO Ribera del Duero from 2010, you will positively surprise your friends.

Tasting note
Deep, intense ruby red. Aromatic on the nose with notes of ripe berries and ripe, dark stone fruits, spicy, dark chocolate, a little tobacco. Strong, velvety tannins on the palate, full but elegant body. Balanced and harmonious with a long-lasting aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef, lamb, hearty stews, spicy stews
Vinification
The Tempranillo grapes are from the “Julian” single vineyard, which was planted in 1940. After fermentation, the wine is aged in French barriques for 15 months.
