About the wine
The Valais landscape is mountainous and hilly, whose breath-taking expanses don't fit on a poster, but in a bottle. With a lot of feeling and experience, the winemaker from the Swiss winery Histoire d'Enfer ensures that his craft inspires and convinces you. With this dominant red wine 2014 — Pinot Noir L'enfer du Calcaire AOC, the term taste takes on a new meaning. Flaschenpöstler tip: Pair this Pinot Noir with duck or salmon.
Tasting note
Farewell and departure, letting go - radiates a very deeply animated peace, reconciled with everything, calm, ripe, gently sweet red fruit, cherry, the finely interwoven ethereal notes, beautiful memories, including shades of age, moist foliage and forest soil, warm melancholy. Soft comfort on the palate again, an animated but not strong body, in the slender, almost fragile calm, first pointed, sinewy features, the transience present here in the dark peat-sweet and the tart, chalky tones. A wine that sensitively and wisely has so much to tell. Outstanding Pinot from Switzerland!
