The chalky, slate soils in Burgundy offer the winemaker from the French winery Henri Villamont everything he needs to practice his craft and produce a wine for discerning connoisseurs. Tasting note
Bright garnet red with purple reflections. Fantastic range of aromas of red berries, framed by a touch of musk. Very complex first impression, develops animalistic tones, framed by well-structured tannins. Wonderful length
Culinary recommendation
Now until poultry, rump or beef steak, entrecote “Café de Paris”, lamb gigot, game specialties, soft cheeses (Epoisses, Cantal, Brie, Comté).
