Something special, a wine with grapes from two different countries, Hungary & Austria. These biodynamic grapes grow on gneiss and clay soils. The Ponzichter shows a medium ruby red. Concentrated fruit aromas on the nose with subtle notes of charcoal. On the palate, the wine is also very concentrated and the crisp sourness provides a nice freshness. Full-bodied and very balanced. Ponzichter (“bean breeder”) was a name for the German-speaking minority of winemakers in the Sopron region.
