Tasting note
Without any wood ageing, this Primitivo presents itself with beguiling and deep fruit that is reminiscent of blackberry jam, cassis jelly, dried dates and figs. A subtle, sweet-looking spiciness is marked with notes of rose pepper, cinnamon and clove. The intense fruit impression is also formative in the taste and continues to the finish, but without - thanks to the balanced acidity and subtle tannins - appearing sweet or sticky.
