Tasting note
Deep deep rich red. Strong scent of wild berries, plums, pepper and some stabak. Full, powerful wine with lots of spice, solid structure and lots of juicy fruit. Well-balanced thanks to fresh acidity. Very long lingering with fruit and some cloves. Very elegant and structured. Good for storage too!
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with meat dishes of all kinds, especially grilled or roasted dishes.
Vinification
Organic farming. The grapes for the top wine of the Puro line are harvested in April, immediately brought to the winery and fermented here in concrete tanks at controlled temperatures of 27 to 29 °C. In order to give the wine more aromatic fullness and a fine structure, the wines are placed in French oak barrels (from the first and second occupancy) after alcoholic fermentation, in which they finally complete harmoniously over a period of around twelve months of maturation.
