About the wine

The 6-hectare Quinta do Cume has a state-of-the-art wine press — the realm of oenologist Jean-Hugues Gros. He studied at the Ecole des Vins de Bourgogne before working in wine-growing regions in Morocco, California, Bordeaux and Champagne, and finally chose the Douro Valley, where he works with great success.
