About the wine

Bodegas Pinna Fidelis was founded in 2001. The name is a tribute to the location of the main engine-building, the village of Peñafiel. The vineyards cover a strip of 5-6 km wide, 15 km along the Duero River for a total of 200 ha. The vines on the plain thrive on sandy gravel soils, which make for fruitier, slower-ripening grapes, while the clay-rich, stony and hilly soils allow the grapes to ripen faster and produce wines with a firmer structure. Modernity and tradition are in perfect harmony at Pinna Fidelis; red wines are produced exclusively from Tinta del País (regional synonym for Tempranillo).
