About the wine
The stately estate in Flemlingen was owned by the Counts of the Leyen until the 16th century. The Minges family has been managing the property for eight generations now and, according to their own statement, is associated with the fascination of winemaking. Their goal is to skillfully bottle the minerality of the diverse soils and the character of the grape varieties.
Now until 2042
Tasting note
On the nose, candied apricot and pineapple. Aromas that are delicately reminiscent of molasses and blossom honey. Elderflower syrup and orange. Clear very transparent ice wine style. A fine balance of sweetness and acidity. Elegance length with exquisite texture.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The ideal drinking temperature for the white wine is a slightly chilled 6°-10°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: 2013 - 2042. Flaschenpost team recommends this Riesling Böchinger Rosenkranz Eiswein to accompany mushrooms, duck and Indian cuisine.
