About the wine
The skewed, calcareous soils in Burgundy form the breeding ground for this Gamay. The winemaker from the French winery Louis Tête knows how to use them and delights us with this red wine. With the dominant Gamay 2015 — Saint-Amour ac La Folie M.O., you can offer your guests something very special. Tasting note
Medium ruby red with shiny garnet reflections, color-tight. Ripe fruity notes, cherries, plums, strawberry jam, spicy, finely roasted hints of smoke, earthy notes of undergrowth and wet moss. Long first drink, well-balanced tannins and acids, elegant body, beautiful fruit fullness that lasts an infinitely long time. Youthful, very aromatic with a lively fruit - typical Beaujolais, is incredibly fun.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with poultry, grilled sea fish, charcuterie plates, oeufs en meurette, jambon persillé and meatloaf.
