About the wine
The gravelly, loamy soils in Burgundy are the breeding ground for this Gamay. The winemaker from the French winery Domaine de Gry-Sablon knows how to use them and delights us with this red wine. If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this powerful Gamay 2020 — Saint-Amour Les Tines. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This gamay is ideal to be served with rösti or duck with plum sauce.

Tasting note
Intense ruby red. Complex and seductive, this wine combines aromas of red berries and floral notes of violet and iris. Exuberant fruit and lots of elegance become a fleshy, well-rounded whole. This Saint-Amour is the expression of fantastically married tenderness and harmony.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with rabbit galantine, chicken pie, poultry liver terrine, duck liver, brioche sausage, capon in cream sauce, fried chicken, feathered game, lentil stew, roast pork, veal chop with cream sauce, white meat, spaghetti bolognese and strawberry soup.
