About the wine
Mash-fermented natural wine, produced in a clay vessel (Qvevri) using 8000-year-old Georgian methods. Unfiltered, unclarified, without the addition of foreign substances. 3 weeks in Qvevri on the mash (without centimes), followed by 15 months of aging of the wine in steel tanks (without mash).

Tasting note
The wine smells and tastes of ripe black berries (blackberries, black currants, black cherries) and spices. The tannins typical of these wines are soft and well integrated. Very rich, fruity Qvevri wine with a long aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fried or cooked hearty meats (e.g. beef steaks, boeuf bourguignon, game) but also with mushroom and well-seasoned vegetable dishes as well as with cheese.
