About the wine

Biondi Santis Toscana Rosso Sassoalloro was born in Tuscany and created by Jacopo Biondi Santi. It represents the bridge between the past and future of the family's wine production and maintains a great passion for Sangiovese, but gives life to a new interpretation of this grape variety. A fresh, round and dynamic wine whose name is inspired by the erratic rock of volcanic origin, which over the centuries has become the protaginist of numerous local legends. It is made from 100% Sangiovese Grosso grapes harvested at the end of September. After vinification, the wine rests for 14 months in unroasted wooden barrels from the Tronçais forests.
