About the wine

Tasting note
In a dark ruby red with a purple rim, the Rust en Vrede Estate Vineyard Syrah flows into the glass and exudes complex aromas of olive tapenade, red berries, fine vanilla and milk chocolate. The palate is full-bodied, a bit of the wild side and with a subtle mineral core. A hint of roasted herbs and smoked meat combines with fine-grained tannins and ends in a soft and fruity finish.
Culinary recommendation
Ideal with strong meats such as beef, lamb or game.
