About the wine
At the beginning of the 1980s, the Garcia hotelier family from Burgos acquired the old cooperative in Gumiel de Mercado. The love of wine played an important role in this major commitment. Under the leadership of sisters Carolina and Yolanda, the company has worked its way up to the top of the Ribera del Duero. Tinta del Pais (Tempranillo) is mainly planted on 100 ha of vines.

The Valduero Gran Reserva has a new look. <br/>Intense dark purple red. On the nose, scents of figs, caramel, nuances of leather and tobacco. In the aftertaste, rich and complex. Present but soft and juicy tannins. Very long-lasting The wine comes from very old vines with small yields and very high quality.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: Drink this red wine at a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The following period is the ideal phase of enjoyment of this wine: 8 - 20 years after harvest. Flaschenpost team tip: Goes perfectly with pizza, barbecue and lasagna.
