About the wine

At the beginning of the 80s, the Garcia hotelier family from Burgos acquired the old cooperative in Gumiel de Mercado. The love of wine played an important role in this great commitment. Under the leadership of sisters Carolina and Yolanda, the company has risen to the top of the Ribera del Duero. Tinta del Pais (Tempranillo) in particular is planted on 100 ha of vines.

Tasting note
Ripe, concentrated fruit (dried apricots, strawberry jam, quince jelly). Soft, powerful and dense on the palate with a voluminous yet elegant finish.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect with wild hair and feathered game, beef, lamb and grilled meats. Also goes well with risotto, chestnuts from the fire or semi-hard cheeses.
