About the wine

Villa Della Torre is one of the rarest and most valuable jewels of the Italian Renaissance. This is a work by masters Giulio Romano and Michele Sanmicheli, built between the end of 1400 and 1550 on the model of Domus Romana. Bought in 2008 by Marilisa Allegrini, today Villa della Torre is the host of Wine & Art Relais. The winery is a project based on outstanding terroirs with a strong wine identity: Valpolicella Classica and Lugana and is pursued by the daughters of Marilisa, Caterina and Carlotta. The Valpolicella Classico Superiore from Villa della Torre is characterized by a particular intensity and richness of aromas. The aging in wood gives the wine a complex and deep profile. Harmonious and balanced, it is pleasant and complex, which can make it very versatile in combination with food.
