Tasting note
The wine has an intense red berry nose, accompanied by delicate Zweigelt spice, some moss and wet leaves. Black berry fruit, some licorice and cassis underlaid with delicate wood spice. Juicy, present, well-integrated tannins, delicate blackberry notes on the finish. The Vienna Trilogy is not a thick, fat New World wine, but a drinkable and finesse food companion.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with red meat with strong sauces, grilled meats and game poultry, risotto and pasta, as well as hard and soft cheeses.
