About the wine

The winemaker from the Portuguese winery Roquette & Cazes masters this red wine with sensitivity and intuition in the blooming and sunny landscape of the Douro Valley. You will definitely have a lot of fun with the fine Xisto DOC, which was produced in 2013.

Tasting note
Vibrant purple with a bluish edge. Fresh and complex on the nose, with delicate floral aromas, wild berry fruits and fresh spicy notes. An elegant start on the palate, resulting in a solid backbone of silky-textured tannins that blend beautifully with notes of wild berries. An elegant, wide wine with a fresh and persistent finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef, hard cheese and lamb.
