About the wine
The Mazzei family's Sicily branch is located not far from Noto in one of the most scenic wine-growing regions on the island. It can rely on the support of oenologist icon Carlo Ferrini when it comes to maintaining the Nero d'Avola stocks and in the cellar.

Tasting note
Deep dark ruby red. Intense bouquet of wild berries, black cherries and a little honey. The Zisola has a beautiful, rich body on the palate, very complex, again with aromas of wild berries. The soft tannins are beautifully integrated. The aftertaste is complex and long.
Culinary recommendation
Von den Flaschenpöstlern empfohlen: Zisola Rosso Sicilia IGT harmoniert ideal mit Ochsenschwanzsuppe, Hartkäse und Risotto. Unsere Empfehlung: Der Rotwein schmeckt am besten bei leicht gekühlten 18°-20°C. Der Wein sollte in diesem Zeitraum genossen werden: 2016 - 2018.
