About the wine

The Amarone Classico Bertani is a timeless wine that is the expression of a unique style that Bertani has always followed with dedication. The Amarone is made from Corvina and Rondinella grapes in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica area, in vineyards dedicated exclusively to drying grapes. The grapes are stored according to the traditional production method on “aréle”, bamboo racks. Fermentation in cement vats and maturation in large barrels for at least six years stabilize its structure and make it one of the most long-lived red wines in the world.

Tasting note
Intense red color with garnet reflections. On the nose, the typical notes of plum, cherry and sour cherry emerge, followed by a variety of nuances: dried fruit, tea leaves, licorice and spices. On the palate, notes of red berry fruits, sweetened by soft vanilla notes, in perfect balance with acidity and tannins.
Culinary recommendation
It can be paired with red meat, game and aged cheeses, but is also a perfect accompaniment at the end of a meal and during meditation.
