About the wine
The fertile and blooming landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Produttori del Barbaresco conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Tasting note
Rich ruby red with garnet reflections. On the nose, a lively scent of sour cherries, blackberries, dried fruit, nuts and roasted aromas. Complex and elegant. A rich, full-bodied start on the palate. The tannin as well as the acid are precisely and harmoniously integrated. Complex aromas, lots of dark fruit and sublime spiciness. Long, balanced and aromatic aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with lamb, wild fowl and well-aged cheese.
Vinification
The grapes from the Rabajà vineyard are picked by hand and then fermented in steel tanks for 21 days. It is aged in large wooden barrels for 36 months. After bottling, the wine ages in the bottle for a further eight months.
