Intense, dense black red with purple reflections. Very thick on the nose and wonderfully complex. Ripe, dark berries, plums, “Mon Chéri”, mild tobacco, coffee, menthol, a small touch of coconut and vanilla. On the palate, the colossus is powerful and very full-bodied. And yet the wine, with all its richness, appears very elegant, almost delicate. Lavish roasted aromas, ripe dark fruit, wonderfully smooth tannins and a seemingly endless aromatic persistence on the finish.
