About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Col d'Orcia is absolutely proficient in his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originated in the flourishing and fertile Tuscan countryside. A must for connoisseurs, this outstanding Sangiovese 2013 — Brunello di Montalcino DOCG! Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Sangiovese is ideal to serve with pizza or lamb.
Tasting note
On the nose, an extremely fresh, clean and elderberry fruit with aromas of wild berries as well as delicate notes of licorice, coffee and spices. Very dense and compact on the palate, pleasant freshness and wonderfully balanced tannin. Long-lasting elegant finish - excellent value for money.
