About the wine

Created by Conte Loredan Gasparini, this wine was often used for official events in the city of Venice. In the 1960s, many heads of state even loved this wine - a fact that naturally led to its name: “Head of State.” The grapes used mainly come from vines planted in 1946 from Venegazzù in the Montello area. The wine is aged in barriques and bottled unfiltered.
