Tasting note
An almost perfect copy of the classic Bordeaux wine. Cuvée of 45% Malbec, 35% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot grapes. Ruby red color with fiery red reflections. Pleasant bouquet of wood and ripe red fruits. Harmonious, soft and juicy on the palate. Complex structure, beautiful acidity and velvety finish. A wine that is ready to drink, but it will develop in the bottle for another 2-5 years. This wine is not missing from any wine list of the good restaurants in Argentina.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The perfect drinking temperature for the red wine is a slightly chilled 16°-18°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: now until 2030. Flaschenpost team recommends this Carrascal Aniversário 2004-2017 to accompany red meat, pizza with mushrooms and Gruyère burgers.
Vinification
24 months in large used wooden barrels from 2000 to 6000 liters. Then blend in concrete vats for at least 18 months. Minimal filtration. No fining.
